Elaine is Ojibwe/Cayuga, from Six Nations, Ontario. She has worked as a freelance Indigenous Arts activist/promoter/TV and radio producer full-time for 30 years. Originally from Six Nations on the Grand River Territory in southern Ontario, Elaine now makes her home on the Capilano Reserve, Coast Salish territory in North Vancouver, British Columbia, for the last 11 years.
Elaine is Manager for JUNO winner, Native blues piano man Murray Porter, also from Six Nations, full-time for the past 11 years, but has worked with him throughout the years since 1990. She was also Associate Producer on his award-winning CD, `Songs Lived & Life Played’, and has emerged as a songwriter on this recording, with a couple of songwriting credits, and is now a member of SOCAN. She will collaborated with Murray Porter on his new album with 2 new songs, which will be released in the late Fall of 2017.
